These are her impressions about the Boise, Idaho eight round of the Series:

“I liked the track, it was a fast layout, although it had some slow and slippery obstacles, like the trunks and the sand. It’s been a lucky race for me. I started quite well, but Tarah Gieger fell in front of me, making me and other riders avoid her, losing some time. It’s not that easy to make a good start competing with other riders who come from motocross racing!! At the end of first lap I was still running upfront, but then I had a small fall at the woodpile and lost some time. Another mistake at the final lap allowed Pechout to pass me just a few meters away from the chequered flag. In a short three lap race format you can’t cope to have any mistake if you want to win. Pechout managed to avoid the initial pileout and had no major mistakes, and so, she won the race. Another key factor has been the freezing cold Alaska storm that hit the USA those days, making it almost impossible for my body and for my bike to get warm when the race was about to start.

Overall I’m very happy with my second place, I believe we are working in the right direction and being at the podium is always good. However, I’m never satisfied with second places, so next week I will give everything on my own to be at the top spot”.
